Bo Rushing

Bo launched her real estate career in 1996 as a broker. Within just two years, she was recognized nationally when Prudential named her the #1 commercial real estate agent in the country. That same year, she founded her first development company, focusing on building retail centers for national brands while continuing her work with Prudential.
In 2001, Bo established Rushing Real Estate, Inc., and by 2003, she had expanded into construction and property management. To streamline her growing portfolio, she created The Rushing Group, bringing all of her companies together under one umbrella.
As CEO, Bo’s vision, determination, and creativity have guided Multi Construction in designing and delivering more than 450,000 square feet of retail and multifamily projects. Her team specializes in ground-up shopping centers and apartment communities, as well as tenant improvements for a wide range of clients—from national retailers to government agencies at the state, city, and county levels, along with housing authorities and nonprofits.
Bo is known for her straightforward, results-driven approach: completing projects on time, under budget, and with a focus on creating spaces where people want to live, work, and gather. A full client list is available upon request.
Jessica Thomas (Rushing)
Assistant Project Manager / Director of Development

Jessica, a full-time team member since September 2018, initially started as a copier and filing expert. Back then, Rushing RE had a stronger focus on brokerage, with many agents. Jessica became the go-to person for updating flyers, copying, and filing for the brokers, even before she turned 16.
During her senior year of high school in 2009, Jessica worked as an administrative assistant. Afterward, she moved to Los Angeles to attend Santa Monica College and later UCLA. Her strong understanding of day-to-day operations, coupled with her business degree, has allowed her to leverage her experience and maintain excellence in all aspects of the business. There’s no doubt that she’ll continue to contribute to the company’s success for years to come. Most recently she is enjoying her position as assistant project manager with the development and construction company.
Jessica finds joy in constantly learning and growing as part of our team. She also loves the people she gets to work with daily.
In her personal life, Jessica enjoys taking her dogs on adventures, camping, and traveling to California and Mexico. She and her husband have been together for five years and were married in 2022. For their honeymoon, they embarked on an incredible road trip across the entire US. Jessica is known for her playful nature and loves making people laugh. She’s always up for spontaneous adventures and enjoys spending time with her friends, her stepdaughter Carmen, and their dogs, Annabelle and Mabel.
Tiffany Jackson
Regional Portfolio Manager & Operations Director

Tiffany joined the Rushing team in January of 2022. Her background is in commercial leasing and development, with a focus in QSRs and small businesses. She oversees Rushing’s Commercial and Multifamily companies, daily management operations, and new development. She loves to be a problem solver and is always working with the team on finding solutions or growing their skills. Her passion is working with people and celebrating her team and tenant’s achievements.
Tiffany loves going on adventures with her husband and son, whether to the mountains to play in the snow or hopping on a plane to sit on a beach; she is eagerly running out the door with her bags packed and sunnies on.
Robert Frederick
Director of Finance

Robert joined the Rushing Group in January of 2024. With a seasoned background in accounting and finance for hospitality groups, he now hopes to offer his knowledge and perspective as Director of Finance. He is perfectly at home among spreadsheets and financial data and looks forward to learning more about the real estate industry and grow alongside Rushing Group and their tenants.
In his free time, he loves exploring Oregon with his beloved wife and dog, uncovering hidden gems of restaurants and sightseeing. If the PNW rain is a little too strong and he’s forced to stay inside, he’ll probably be around a book, boardgame or computer until the weather passes.
Melanie Yelliott
Residential Asset Manager

Melanie has been with Rushing Group since November of 2021. Originally starting out as an Administrative Assistant, Melanie quickly grew her knowledge in Landlord Tenant Law and filled in as a Leasing Agent for May’s Landing part-time. With her many years in Customer Service, Melanie eagerly stepped into the Residential Asset Manager role and hit the ground running, wanting to make May’s Landing everyone’s favorite place to call home. The thing she enjoys the most about her day-to-day efforts is interacting with tenants and leasing apartments to first time renters. You can find Melanie walking the grounds daily and interacting with tenants (both human and pet), guests and vendors.
Outside of work, Melanie enjoys spending time with her 3 sons, and dog. She enjoys traveling to the coast (rain or shine) and playing in the sand with her family. Melanie enjoys happy hour with her girlfriends and finds herself being the “yes man” in every social setting. Meaning, don’t ask Melanie, because she will always say yes.
Anna Guedon
Administrative Assistant & Assistant Manager

Anna Guedon brings over five years of experience in data entry, training, fiscal responsibility, file maintenance, and customer service to her role as Administrative Assistant. Known for her strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail, Anna is dedicated to creating a smooth, efficient, and supportive environment for both staff and clients.
Her commitment to customer satisfaction and team collaboration makes her an invaluable addition to our management and maintenance team. With a can-do attitude and a proactive approach, Anna is already proving to be an exceptional support resource across all levels of our organization.
Outside of work, Anna enjoys weekend getaways to the coast with her significant other and their two lovable pups. She’s also an avid gardener who finds joy in nurturing both her plants and the people around her.
Carmen Thomas
Leasing Assistant

Carmen joined the Rushing Group in January 2024 and is currently completing high school, with plans to graduate early in Spring 2025. She aspires to pursue a degree in Nursing. As the office assistant, she supports the team with various tasks while building her skills. She is actively learning about the multi-family leasing process, so you may see her on-site showing apartments or in the office helping with upcoming lease renewals.
In her free time, Carmen enjoys snowboarding, camping, and seeking new adventures. She loves traveling to Palm Springs and Mexico and spending time with her stepmom, Jessica, and her dad, Jay.
Jay Thomas
Maintenance Technician

Jay has been with the Rushing Group since 2018. With his skill levels and positive personality, he has moved quickly from an entry level maintenance position to an essential part of the overall maintenance and upkeep of our properties. He oversees all property maintenance and helps manage some of Bo’s business ventures outside of the Rushing Group. The thing he enjoys the most about his day-to-day efforts is the hands-on aspects of the job. He is partial to “getting his hands dirty” and being able to get to know each property individually and being constantly out in the field.
Jay has been blessed with his wonderful wife Jessica and his amazing daughter Carmen. He has grown up and resided in Salem his entire life. In his free time, he thoroughly enjoys camping and the outdoors that their home state has to offer.
Kyle Jacobe
Maintenance Technician

Kyle joined the Rushing Group in August 2024 as a Maintenance Technician, bringing with him 14 years of experience in the field. He is a skilled craftsman with a specialization in apartment maintenance and remodeling. Kyle’s expertise and attention to detail ensure that every project he undertakes is completed to the highest standards.
Beyond his professional skills, Kyle is an avid outdoorsman who finds joy in hunting, fishing, and camping. He thrives on adrenaline-filled activities and always seeks new adventures. Known for his outgoing personality, Kyle loves to share laughter with his friends and family.
Kyle’s passion for helping others is evident in his work and personal life. He takes great pride in being a reliable and supportive team member, always ready to lend a helping hand. Kyle’s dedication to both his craft and his community makes him a valuable asset to the Rushing Group.
